Frog Kissing

They say you have to kiss a lot of frogs to find your prince, and the same thing could be said of the little green guys who, with a metaphoric kiss, turn into buyers who actually reach the settlement table.

We drove up to Provincetown for a second round of parasailing, and I met these guys on a walk along the main drag.

They got me thinking.

Could the first one could be my next sweetie.  And might the second buy a multi-million dollar house in Georgetown?

I've certainly kissed a lot of frogs in my day, and in bursts of optimism, I keep on trying!

Or was I merely looking for an excuse to work this two adorable hunks into a blog post?

Pat, If Antonio Banderas puts a frog costume on, I am all for kissing frogs.  Other than that, I'll pass!  Cute post!

That yellow chain on the first frog is hysterical; like it is begging to be rescued! I know they put the chains on to keep them from being stolen but I think my explanation is pretty funny. I love parasailing!

Ahhhh so cute they are. The second one definitely has that 'lawyer' look to him so he just may be your multi million dollar buyer. As for the first one.... you know what they say about big feet :)

Pat,

Funny photos, good analogy. Sometimes when you find the graphics you want, you have to figure out how to make them work.

And a reminder that you can't always tell a frog from a prince just by looking.  Cute post!

Patricia, you know despite our almost 7 year marriage and 12 years together, my wife still has a soft spot for Kermit the Frog.  In fact, years ago, I bought her a stuffed Kermie...

Susan, yeah!  I'll do that!

David and LaShawn, after all these years, I still can't tell just by looking, so yeah to this one, too!

Jennifer, they were at two different shops on the main street by the water.  Provincetown is a fun trip!

Tara, we're actually staying in Chatham, so we did the drive - mostly to have another go at parasailing.

And Blaine, I couldn't get your link to work.

Rich, I might have swiped him sans chain!  Just kidding!

Martha, I also love that Big Foot is carrying fresh flowers!

Terry, gee, it never occurred to me that my dog could turn into a buyer/prince!  Maybe I shouldn't have him neutered after all!

Liz, this is not work!

Steven, you're so right about getting photos and needing a subject that works with them!  That's exactly what happened here!

Katerina, for you, I'm sure they would turn into big ticket buyers!

Eric, one of my first high end sales walked into the office on my floor duty shift wearing ripped jeans and wrinkled T-shirt.  You can never tell!

Brian, are you telling us that your wife liberated you from a frog body?  That is so sweet!

And Leesa, I just got an email referral yesterday!  We're getting together when I get back to DC!

Kissing frogs,  ah yes, I have kissed my share for sure - but I did find a prince.  I love the first frog - would love him in my garden.  Keep on kissin', even if you don't find one you could have some fun along the way!!

Audrey, glad you found your prince!  And I adore the first frog two!  Love the daisies!

Gary, they're a lot cuter than some of the frogs I've dated or showed houses to.

Jeanean, I found the frogs and had to figure out how to get them into a post.

Barbara-Jo, you just pucker away!  He'll show up!

Thesa, wow!  Sorry about those nasty warts!

Denise, glad to make you laugh!

Hi Patricia, loved your entry!  I took the "Ninja Selling" mini course last year and learned some interesting trivia which stayed with me.  Did you know that frogs only move forward, not sidesways or backwards?  Thus, the frog is a symbol of advancement to many agents in The Group.  I've started collecting frogs since then and have a bunch in my office and on my property.  :)

Pat - Don't frogs give warts? Well, for a buyer in this market, I'd even take the chance on warts! I'd probably even kiss the frog's behind!
