What's For Sale in Crestwood?

If you are looking for someplace that has tree-lined streets and easy access to Rock Creek Park, Crestwood may be an interesting possibility for the setting of your next home.

The neighborhood is architecturally diverse, with a combination of early 1900's row houses off 16th Street, to large detached brick and stone homes as you work your way west toward the Park.   But what I really love about this neighborhood is that parking is really easy - even if you don't have a garage.

Right now, there are 11 homes for sale.  The prices range from a low of $719,000 for a rambler on Blagden Avenue  to a high of $1,800,000 for a large stone mansion with great bones that, after it's next serious face lift, will make someone a spectacular home.  And in between, there are some interesting choices.

When you're in a metro location parking is so important. That is a real selling feature for Crestwood.

Tammie, neighbors get upset when they come home and can't park in front of their own house!  I used to live in a neighborhood where you'd come home to find the hydrants taken.

Pat, Very historic and what many buyers are looking for. Buyers moving to the DC area should give you a call.

This one looks the home I grew up in, in Kansas City! Quaint!

Debbie, this house is listed a bit below market and will probably fly off the shelf.

And Kathie, I grew up in Topeka, and there were a lot of these all over town.
