Speechless Sunday: Cute Guy at the Cathedral

I met him at the National Cathedral.  He was on the upper level of the National Cathedral, where you can go for the most spectacular view of Washington,DC.  And even with bad teeth, he's got that twinkle that makes him, well, flirtworthy!

He is adoreable.. Though every time I open your blogs with a picture of a sculpture I always anticipate it to be a gargoyle.. :)

Hi Patricia,

Like Janis said, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. I do love Washington DC though and there are so many great places to visit. I have not been there in about 10 years but look forward to going back in a couple of years. It is so full of history. All the streets, freeway, shopping centers, houses and buildings are named for some person or historical event. It is great!

I was on my way to your Favs when I saw your Cathedral guy.  He looks green; like unfired clay.  And he doesn't look very sacred for a cathedral.  Here's another flirt worthy guy you may like.

He looks like a jester, given the hat and the happy smile.  And probably not at all like the gargoyles near him!

In the cathedral?. .I guess they practice equal opportunity for all. . (like rebuttals between Democrats and Republicans )and allow the visitors a chance to be recruited to hell?. .just wondering~

He looks quite friendly, but I'm not sure I'ld feel the same way if it were late at night and in a dark alley, LoL!

We went to the national cathedral several years ago and enjoyed the gargoyles. In fact we bought one and have him our garden .

I guess that was a big surprise when you arrive at the upper level of the National Cathedral.  However he looks friendly.

Great find at the National Cathedral!  I think the teeth really make the sculpture! haha.

Certainly somebody I would not want to meet on a dark street at night........

What a character. Definately not what I would expect to see at a cathedral... the comic relief in a Shakesperean play maybe...
