The Turning Point - Thursday Lunch Break

Brian Buffini gets my “5 Wows” rating.

I don’t know if your real estate practice ever need a shot in the arm, but right now, mine sure does.   I’ve been helping people to buy or sell houses for almost 25 years, so I' know what I'm doing, and I need  a way to tweak things – get more organized and learn to work more effectively.

So, I found my way to Richmond, Virginia's convention center to hear Brian Buffini.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with Buffini’s approach, in a nutshell, he recommends doing business with people you know and like (or love) and the people they refer to you.  And this morning he is introducing us to his system than makes it more intentional, and thereby more effective.

So, on a break, I’m chewing on a sandwich and rethinking my disorganized database.  It’s now been transformed into a disorganized group of relationships, and boy am I going to have a great time whipping it into shape!

I'm in my hotel room ready to crash.  The wi-fi thing here isn't quite working so I may have to wait until I get home to actually post this.

This afternoon, he talked about his Client Appreciation Program and systems for taking care of your clients.  It was elegantly simple.  Well, maybe this could be a lot of work.  And my friend Lynn (we went down together) and I could be each other’s accountability partners.  And then he covered the “Balanced Life” thing – something I’ve never been good at.

And I had to give myself a “5 Yikes” rating!

It sounds like you are excited + empowered! Those qualities will help you get yourself into action, which ultimately is what makes the most difference! Having an accountability partner is a great support! Good for you. I bet 2008 will be a good year for you.

I am glad to hear that you are empowered by listening to Brian Buffini.  Those systems you mentioned, are paramont to your success.  He has many more systems in place for us and yes, they do work!  It's hard work to get organized, but it will pay you huge benefits to do so.  Imagine, attending  & applying his systems, 5 to 6 of his events a year?  You would succeed!

It's Still a Good Life!

Thanks for keeping us updated on the Turning Point!
I went to one of Buffini's 3 day - events in DC 3 years ago - I'm sure what I learned has all been updated and changed (along with the way the market is now!)
So Thanks Again for Posting these!

www.BuffiniandCompany.com  For anyone who would like to check the event dates and locations! It is easy to navigate through the site.   I think Brian refines and improves the events on his way home on the plane!!

It's a Good Life!
