Brian Buffini gets my “5 Wows” rating.
I don’t know if your real estate practice ever need a shot in the arm, but right now, mine sure does. I’ve been helping people to buy or sell houses for almost 25 years, so I' know what I'm doing, and I need a way to tweak things – get more organized and learn to work more effectively.
So, I found my way to Richmond, Virginia's convention center to hear Brian Buffini.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with Buffini’s approach, in a nutshell, he recommends doing business with people you know and like (or love) and the people they refer to you. And this morning he is introducing us to his system than makes it more intentional, and thereby more effective.
So, on a break, I’m chewing on a sandwich and rethinking my disorganized database. It’s now been transformed into a disorganized group of relationships, and boy am I going to have a great time whipping it into shape!
I'm in my hotel room ready to crash. The wi-fi thing here isn't quite working so I may have to wait until I get home to actually post this.
This afternoon, he talked about his Client Appreciation Program and systems for taking care of your clients. It was elegantly simple. Well, maybe this could be a lot of work. And my friend Lynn (we went down together) and I could be each other’s accountability partners. And then he covered the “Balanced Life” thing – something I’ve never been good at.
And I had to give myself a “5 Yikes” rating!
