Wordless Wednesday: Tulip Time

This is another in my Paris nostalgia series!  I was going through a bunch of the photos I took on that trip, and now I really have to get back there soon!  There were growing in the Luxembourg Gardens.   And I was thinking how much fun it would be to have a job as a gardener there!

Pat, You don't have to go that far. Take a look at Sherwood Gardens right here in Baltimore.

                                               Tulips at Sherwood Gardens HomeRome.com

Please come over and you can see the azaleas in bloom with the tulips.

Take a train ride to Amsterdam and overdose on Tulips. It's a shame they are over so quickly.

Tulips is one of my favorite flowers. I only planted them one time in my garden. They died every year because our summers are just too hot for them.

Pat - I don't exactly know why, but the flowers seem to be absolutely outdoing themselves this Spring.  Perhaps it was the long winter!  There is an area in my town, where there are a couple blocks of roses on a wall, which appear to be an explosion of color lately!  I need to photograph them, come to think of it!

Nice picture!

Pat - what a wonderful photo. Iwas disappointed to learn they were not DC tulips! LOL. But gorgeous nonetheless. They are, next to daffodils, my fave spring flower.

Pat:  I love tulips.  And the reason I love them is the reason I could never be a gardener.  They are easy to plant and require zero maintenance.  I can't kill them.  I am not a woman with a green thumb.
