Patricia- we lived in the DC area for about 3 years and I always loved seeing this over the treetops.
Hi Pat...This is a wonderful place to visit. One of the many special sites in D.C..
Kate
Very cool - almost looks like England.
Hi Patricia! One day my camera and I would very much like to visit DC! Terrific shot!

Beautiful picture; there is a place on a hill in Wisconsin called Holy Hill. It's a Carmelite monastery. Huge, and beautiful like this place.
Pat, for your follow-up photo, perhaps you'll take a close-up of the Darth Vader gargoyle?
The National cathedral is an awesome building. We went to see it the last time we were in DC. I understand that it took 75 years to build. It is very impressive.
Pat --- you take the best shots around Washington, DC -- I love your photos -- this one is particularly beaautiful.

Hi Pat... this is still one of my favorite buildings in DC. So majestic!
Pst,
That almost looks like a site one would see in jolly old London town
Nice shot Pat, You captured the beauty.
Pat.
It sure does stand out above the trees. All the times I've been to DC, I've seen this up close. :)
