Yes, I know! I am a little late with this one. It's a photo I snapped of Washington Harbor in Georgetown, with a view of the Potomac River and, in the distance, Kennedy Center. It's amazing how nice the weather got, and how blue the sky turned, once we left August behind.

Pat
Washington Harbor a great place to enjoy a meal and the river.
Good luck and success.

Hi Pat,
This looks so inviting! Fall is a wonderful time to go to DC and your picture is a perfect example. Milder weather and blue skies...I'm there.
K
What a wonderful picture! I can almost feel the breeze off the water. My son recently moved to DC and will be able to enjoy a real fall season with yall.
Pat: It's been a long time since I've been to Washington Harbor. There are some great restaurants there as I recall.
Pat -- this photos brings back some fond memories.... what a beautiful photo. I love Georgetown... and had a lot of fun while in the area on business several years ago!
Pat: Washington Harbor looks like a great place for me to visit if I can get myself up there this fall. It looks so inviting. Thanks for sharing it !
Nice restaurants, nice view and a great place to do some people watching. Now, if they would only do something about the parking.
Pat,
So pretty and so many different types of water views. Quite nice. :)
Steve
Cooler weather can clear up those skies. Beautiful photo Pat.
Pat, it looks like you also are experiencing the cool, clear fall weather. Doesn't it make photography that much better?
Pat, This is a beautiful picture on what looks like a perfect day. I wish I were there now.
Silly Silly girl, that is a fountain not Washington Harbor... Oh, the background is Washington Harbor (My bad)

Pat --- beautiful photo ---you are right about the beautiful blue sky and water.
Hi Pat... this was one of my favotite times of year in DC. I got a call from a friend this past weekend that it was 26 years ago last weekend that we stood in line together to check into our freshman dorm at GW. How time flies!
That is an amazing picture with so many things all together in one place.
This is a very nice look of your area. I am thinking that I was there 2 years ago but it was in the evening.
Pat - Great photo... I miss the the East coast and love seeing photographs of my old stomping grounds in Washington DC and Baltimore.
Great picture. It is amazing that the whole northeast experienced the cooler weather and bright blue skies this week.
Luckily my kids already returned to school last week - so they are not upset about the cooler temperatures this week.
And we all know that it soon heat up again so we can get once last time in the pool.
Hey Pat - Love the picture and I can see that there were quite a people out enjoying the weather. Weather? Same here - Sept 1 hit and it was automatically FALL - WONDEFUL!
Oh the weather in DC has been wonderful this month !!
We ate at a Sea Food restaurant in that area. Good food and a wonderful setting.
Hi Pat...Great photo! Of course I love any picture that shows water!
I haven't been up in that area for a number of years. Guess I'm overdue for a trip north. Looks like it will be a real treat.
I'm going to make a stop one of these days when i'm heading to Connecticut. Thanks for the reminder of how pretty the DC area is.
Kate
Pat,
We have some pretty harbors like that, of course, we are the other WA
Looks like a beautiful setting.
Tell me, why doesn't the Washington metro area (including the District of Columbia) secede from Maryland and Virginia and form it's own state?
Beautiful photo, I've been to Washington D.C. a few times but not to Washington Harbor, I'll have to check it out next time. Thanks!
Pat - I always loved this part of DC. You have captured the views perfectly. Have a wonderful holilday weekend.
Jeff
Lou, you're right! There are some lovely restaurants down there.
Karen Ann, yeah! Get yourself up here!
Steve, and you've been talking about a visit for months!
Kate, you are so close you have no excuse for not visiting!
And Jim, Washington is not a part of Virginia or Maryland. We are a seperate "District" with no voting rights in Congress, even though Congress gets to boss us around. It's called "Taxation without Representation!"
Patricia,
I've never been to the Washington Harbor but this photo makes me want to go,
