I took this on a very long bike hike through Rock Creek Park.  From the Rock Creek path, we are looking up at old tracks from the B&O Railraod (where my Great Uncle Lee worked)  that are now part of another bicycle path - the Crescent Trail.  Right now, I have a bunch of bruises on my leg from falling off the thing!

LOL Pat, the things we do for... anyway, as long as the bike path wasn't above, you are fine. Great shot! And you even remembered to bring your camera. Nice!

Just one of the many things I love about the DC area. The combination of the green and culture

Hi Pat

Many people say that riding a bike is a nature high, now I now why.

Good luck and success.

We have had a few of the old railroads converted to bike paths but not many bridges that high.

Hi Pat... I love Rock Creek Park.  It's definitely a part of the balance of things that is DC!

Pat - My first thought when I looked at that photo was no way would you catch me bicycling up there! :)  Of course once I read your comment I was relieved but sorry you ended up with some nasty bumps and bruises but you got one great shot here! :)

Pat - That's a really great looking location.  Loads of greenery, and what appears to be a railroad trestle.  What's not to love:-)
