What's For Sale at DC's Westchester?

What's For Sale at DC's Westchester?

Right now, there are seven cooperatives for sale at the Westchester.  And I'd be making an offer on one of them, except that sadly, the place is a "No Labradoodle Zone".

The prices are extremely reasonably, due in large part to the restrictions on pets and on owners' ability to rent their units.  Also, the cooperative fees are quite high, typically just under $1,000 per month, although they include all utilities and DC real estate taxes.

Six of the seven apartments that are currently for sale are 1-bedrooms, and most are quite large, around 1000 square feet.  Many of them have sunken living rooms, and some need a little TLC, while others boast state-of-the-art kitchens and amazing decor.  Their prices range from a low of $242,500 to a high of $325,000.

The seventh unit is us quite special - a 2800 square foot 3-bedroom on the third floor priced at $1,275,000.

The Westchester has many amenities, including beautiful gardens, a restaurant and convenience store.

Hmmm.  Wonder if the convenience store sells dog food?  And if they ever change their pet policy, I'm there!
