The Washington Monument's New Pajamas

The Washington Monument has a new outfit.  Last month, the scaffolding started to go up to allow repairs to the damage that our 2011 earthquake caused.  There are some  cracks, especially toward the top of the monument, that need repairs.  Then, like lots of buildings, there are spots that need pointing up.

If you're planning a trip to Washington, you won't be able to go to the top of this national landmark, but it's still a beautiful  part of the National Mall.

If you are planning a move to or from the Washington area, I can help.  I am licensed in DC, Maryland and Virginia.   Please email me at Housepat@mac.com or call 202-549-5167.
