Marketing Luxury Real Estate: The Luxury of Communing with a Pelican

These photos are, in my humble opinion, totally amazing!  If yoo'd like to leave a comment, you know where to go!  Don't know which are more beautiful - the pelicans or the rocks!

For many months, I have been trying to get a picture of a pelican.  Ron and I love watching them dive bomb for their dinners, as they fly in formation skimming the water.  On Monday,  I spotted this pelican enjoying the sun,  I approached cautiously, and continued to take shot after shot of him/her, while telling him/her what a beautiful bird he/she was.  I kept moving closer until I was 5 feet away, and the bird aware of my presence stood still.  Only the eye moved.

As I approached closer, he/she folded his/her neck between his wings,, and I thought of the famous line in the film, Sunset Boulevard, when Gloria Swanson (and old time superb actress) exclaims, "I am ready for my close-up, Mr. DeMille".  So my new friend, was ready for his/her close-up.   I squatted down too, and  took many shots and decided I had his/her best side.  I lingered for a few more minutes delighted that he/she felt safe in my presence.   Ron said, the pelican was doing bird yoga, the balance was perfect.

Happy Wednesday, everyone, Cheers, Ron & Alexandra
