Speechless Sunday: Onion Dome

This is like a little bit of Kiev right around the corner from my house.

The Russian Orthodox Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist is one of Crestwood's landmarks, and is often on the route for Willie's walk.   In the fall, they have a totally amazing festival, noted for the many varieties of Russian vodka that attendees can sample.  It's good to be able to walk home from that one!  It's also known in the neighborhood for it's beautiful architectural details.

I especially love the onion dome.  But the artwork around the front door is beautiful as well.

If you are planning a move to or from the Washington, DC area, I can help!  Call, email or text me at:
