Friday's Fotos: The Washington Monument on a Really Hot Day

It's amazing what kind of photo opportunites arise when you are stuck in Washington, DC traffic or waiting for a light to change from red to green.  And I actually took this with a real camera - not my I-phone.  When I rolled down the window, a blast of hot humid air poured through, but it was worth the brief steam bath for this shot.

And, yes, next winter when we're under another six feet of snow, we'll all be blogging about how we can't wait for those nice warm August days!
