My Favorite Newbie of the Week - Elaine Manes

For the past few weeks, I've been following Elaine Manes IRIS ~ A Wonderful Space.  It's turning into a pretty fun read!  So Elaine is this week's newbie.

While I was in New York, she wrote a funny post, You mean... I OWN A COMPANY?   I laughed pretty hard at the serious issues she addressed with great humor.  It got good advice for all of us who have so much fun, we have to remind ourselves it is, indeed, a business.

Elaine has been blogging for almost two months, and she combines posts about staging and business, and then she threw in a fabulous photo essay on Colorado, where she lives and works.  Then there was a really sweet post about a wild kitten living in her window well and her attempts to feed and keep him warm in the snowy weather!  I was almost afraid to read the comment chain, but Toby, the adorable kitty seems to have found a warm place with good chow and keeps coming back.

Oh, and did I mention?  The photographs of her staging efforts look terrific!

So, good work Elaine!  And blog on!
